Self Driving Car
The project I am known best for, turning my 2016 Honda Civic into a self-driving car. In March 2016 I purchased a new Honda Civic with Honda Sensing after receiving a promotion to full-time. The story is full of humor and irony but resulted in me using technology developed by Comma.ai to tap into my car’s driver assistance suite (Honda Sensing) and be one of the first people in the world to make the Honda Civic self-driving.

Zero Client
Powerful, Affordable Zero Client
In my previous place of employment, UNO’s College of Business Administration, we had approximately 95% of our end-user workstations virtualized. The virtual machines connected to either a thin client or a zero client and used either PCoIP protocol or RDP protocol depending on usage requirements. Both protocols and both connection clients have their own unique advantages and disadvantages however they both included two universal weaknesses compared to traditional “thick” clients, poor webcam support and poor graphics performance. After months of research and hours of testing, I created what I can only best describe as the most powerful zero client in the world (at the time). My homemade zero client is significantly cheaper and more powerful than off-the-shelf thin or zero clients in an intranet enviroment.
